No Man's Sky
Elite had the world over it was the first big adventure set in space and it was converted to all major formats at the time, trading materials to other planets, dog fights with other craft and visiting over 200 planets that was in the 8 bit days and now space exploration takes on a similar system to the former Elite, we have No Man's Sky where you get to visit random planets from a choice of absolutely millions you arrive at a planet and gather materials and find shelters with blueprints to upgrade your equipment then your back in space finding another planet to explore. There are two campaigns in the game one been the path of the atlas and the other been the center of the universe, I've completed the former with great ease, I think deep down No Man's Sky is a chill out game where you do everything in your own pace, there is no set goal it just wants you to keep going and enjoy the experience for yourself, fair enough if you can look at it like that but when I first played I was a bit confused as to what I was actually supposed to be doing, great idea and lovely environments, you could play it like buying the most expensive ship or finding the most powerful gun in the game and set your own goals with trading offices around the universe, it's like been given something you can do the hell you like with, but don't play if you want a story based campaign full of action and adventure what No Man's Sky is presenting to you is a endless universe with multiple planets and building and such to go out and explore, why not set your own goals and do as you will with a really cool game that isn't a story from start to finish it's open to you for what ever you choose, cool game.
