Divinity Original Sin II By Oliver Staley
Divinity Original Sin II
I'm back with another review for a game I've been so looking forward to after experiencing the first Divinity I was so glad that the sequel was coming to PlayStation 4, if you pre-order before the official release date you can get Act 1 to keep you going, and yeah I've completed it and it's in very much in the same vein as the original but with new NPC and environments and those gorgeous graphics if you've played the first game then there's really no difference in gameplay, new story new objectives and new characters. What I've played of the sequel is brilliant it holds all the charm of the first game and battles are still tactical in the first act your looking to kill a a man called Bishop Alexandra while finding a way to get off Fort Joy, there's a few ways to go about this and I choose to find a boy called Gareth and a weapon that called take down the invincible Shreikers and finally a gruesome battle with Bishop Alexandra and his men, it took a few goes but I eventually defeated him and won the rights to travel on a ship with a women called M'lady after I agreed to get on the boat the first act was finished now got to wait till August 31st for the rest of the game to be downloaded. I've recently been playing Divinity and I admit turn based combat never really appealed to me but when your playing it it teach's you that this system of battle can be fun. Plus like any other RPG there's side quests and such also finding more powerful armoury and weapons never felt so rewarding. Until I get a chance to play another act of this great game I can tell you this is pure class as a RPG, it's already popular with a lot people and Divinity along side Pillars Of Eternity are the new daddies of turn based fantasy adventure. Maybe on my YouTube channel I should do a comparisons video that'd be really cool to show you them up next to each other don't ask me which one is best just try both there the kind of games that can introduce you to fantasy and make you love this genre they really are that good. Divinity II holds everything from the first game and slightly improves there' s subtle differences that you notice with the workings of the game but nothing dramatic's changed if there's any difference then it's for the better. If the first game offered 100 hours plus gameplay then I wonder how big a game Divinity Original Sin II is. One more thing it has that brilliant script that makes it that much more believable a world with great voices and your companions always make for good conversation, another classic for this generation.
